Fashion Walk in Neve Sha'anan

and pop-up store for Afro-Telavivian clothes

As a part of the Nightlight Festival in the Neve Sha'anan neighbourhood, 1:1 Center for Art and Politics launched a fashion store that offered items from the Tel-Aviv collection. The collection, designed by artist Omer Krieger in collaboration with the Nigerian fashion designer NEYOLAN, was made of colourful African fabrics and included dresses, pants, tops, skirts and more, in contemporary style. The Tel-Aviv Collection was shown in a fashion walk on the streets of Neve Sha'anan, worn by residents of the neighbourhood, among them members of the African community. The walk started out from the new fashion store at the 1:1 center and progressed along the streets during the two nights of the Nightlight festival. Special advisor to the project: Netta Dror.
