Series of actions and research as part of the Neve Shaanan Art Forum

HaSharon Street in Tel-Aviv, in which 1:1 center resided, is considered the main site of street sex work in all of Israel. The artist Rotem Bides conducted an ongoing public art project at the center, in which she had been developing relationships with sex workers in the Neve Shaanan neighborhood for over a year, through her work at the non-profit organization "Atur Mizhech". In a public talk, she provided the listeners with a glimpse into their stories, explained how these women became partners in the artistic work created around them, who are the women engaged in street sex work, what drugs are roaming the streets, and what happened to these women during the lockdowns and corona pandemic.
